Certified Safety Professionals
Sammons Safety Services LLC was created to give small businesses access to a Certified Safety Professional at a reasonable cost. ShaRonda Sammons is the company’s on-site Safety Director, Owner, and the company is certified by The State of Ohio program for economically and socially disadvantaged business enterprises(EDGE), the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). She started the company after realizing there was a need for Safety on all projects, large or small, and most small business owners could not afford a full-time Safety Director. After working for large construction companies, she knew firsthand that Safety could affect companies’ chances of successfully winning contracts and also help them avoid potential fines from regulatory agencies.
We provide in-house safety meetings/training, on-site safety meetings/training, Drug-Free Workplace Training, OSHA 10 & OSHA 30, Lead Safety training for employees, job site inspections, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Setup, Flaggers, Tool Box Talks, and Health & Safety Manuals. Ms. Sammons is certified by The Department of Labor to teach OSHA 10 & OSHA 30-hour training. She is an Authorized Provider for The American Red Cross to conduct CPR/First Aid/AED training, EPA Certified to provide Lead Safety training, Drug-Free Workplace Training, and other trade-specific competent person training. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Kent State University. Much of her experience has been providing OSHA and CPR training for small businesses/contractors throughout Ohio and teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Kent State University in their Construction Management Degree program.
